COVID-19: Under 30's will be offered an alternative vaccine

The JCVI (Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation) have recommended, due to links between rare blood clots and the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine, that anyone under the age of 30 be given an alternative vaccine.

Over 20 million first doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine have been administered in the United Kingdom and 79 cases of blood clots have been identified.
