COVID-19 pandemic worsens OCD symptoms in children

Multiple studies around the globe have revealed that the COVID-19 pandemic has increased depression and anxiety in children.
Social isolation and disruption of daily life have also triggered the symptoms of obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) in children suffering from the disease.
The International OCD Foundation says 2-4 percent of all children will develop OCD before they reach adulthood, which means millions of families around the world are struggling.
