Coronavirus News: As more "bodies in the river" surfaced on Tuesday in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, corpses were seen floating under a bridge near the border between the two states in an escalating human tragedy amid Covid. A Bihar BJP MP said bodies of Covid victims were being dumped into the river from ambulances. A government hospital in Madhya Pradesh capital Bhopal has reported that the ventilators received under the PM-Cares fund are defective. Relatives of a patient claimed a faulty ventilator led to death of a Covid patient.
