COVID-19: Government 'looking at a broad range of options' to support school children

The Prime Minister has announced an extra £400m to help children in England catch up on lost learning caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

Education Secretary Gavin Williamson says the Government is considering a 'broad range of different options' to support children and provide schools with extra resources.

Mr Williamson would not confirm whether lengthening the school day or shortening the school holidays would be part of the plans.
