Concerns have been raised over the South Africa variant with the largest ever surge testing programme launched in South London.

It comes after Prime Minister Boris Johnson also warned people to stay cautious, a day on from the easing of lockdown in England, when huge numbers of people returned to outdoor pubs and restaurants.
