Matt Hancock has outlined progress is UK coronavirus vaccination efforts.

He said that progress was being made, with 78.7% of over 80s now having received a jab.

More than 1 in 9 of the overall population have also received the injection, he said.

The Health Secretary hosted the Downing Street coronavirus news conference, alongside England's deputy chief medical officer Jenny Harries and Public Health England's Dr Susan Hopkins.
