A man who admitted killing three people and attempting to murder three more in Nottingham, UK last year, has had his manslaughter plea accepted.
Valdo Calocane attacked 19-year-old students Grace O'Malley-Kumar and Barnaby Webber, and 65-year-old school caretaker Ian Coates, in the early hours of the morning.
Prosecutors accepted a plea of manslaughter from Calocane, answering to the name Adam Mendes, on the basis of diminished responsibility after he denied murder charges in November, with the court told he was suffering from “serious” mental illness.
