The Taliban is asking for international help to deal with the earthquake in eastern Afghanistan which has killed at least a thousand people.

Since the Taliban took over last year, Afghanistan has encountered crisis after crisis, and now it does not have the infrastructure to deal with a natural disaster.

But aid agencies say that some countries are reticent to send humanitarian aid to the country, concerned they will be sending support to the Taliban.
