Cost of living crisis: Don't Pay UK calls for bills to be cut to 2021 levels

Don't Pay UK is calling on the government to cap bills back to the level they were before April's price cap was introduced.

They are telling people to cancel their direct debits on 1 October unless bills are reduced to an "affordable level".

Liz Truss is due to announce later a new cap on rising energy prices.
