Christmas is just five weeks away, and the leadup to the holidays is usually one of the busiest times for businesses, including restaurants and bars. Many Ontario restaurants have been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The province reported 1,249 new cases of coronavirus on Tuesday, bringing the provincial total to 96,745. This is the 12th straight day that daily case counts have been above 1,000.
As Eric Sorensen reports, some restaurants and bars are finding it hard to be optimistic this holiday season.
