Tehri District Magisterate, Iva Ashish Srivastava, spoke to ABP News about the rising cases of Coronavirus in the district. She said that there were more than 4000 cases of COVID and 75 percent of them were reported from rural areas. She said that in order to tackle them awareness campaigns were being run, testing was done, SDMs and ASHA workers were being asked to remain in the field.
