A day after her partys landslide victory in the Assembly elections, Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee on Monday appealed to the people of West Bengal to maintain peace and harmony and stand beside the people during the ongoing Covid crisis.

Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee is set to swear in as Chief Minister of West Bengal for the third consecutive term. The swearing-in ceremony will take place on Wednesday, May 5 at 10.45 AM at Raj Bhawan. 

It was revealed earlier that Mamata is will meet Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankar at 7 pm on Monday after which, her party would take a call on the oath-taking and Cabinet formation in the evening. She has been unanimously elected as the leader of the TMC Legislative Council.
