Canada was among 14 countries that has signed onto what is seen as the world's biggest ocean sustainability initiative.
From issues like overfishing and pollution, the initiative promises to elevate a healthy ocean from the bottom of the global policy agenda to the top. Each country involved will have a sustainable ocean plan by 2025.
