The second and final week of the COP26 climate summit is underway in Glasgow, Scotland, as world leaders hash out the finer details on how new commitments will be met.

Former U.S. President Barack Obama was also at the summit recently, pleading with other countries to try harder. "Most nations have failed to be as ambitious as they need to be," said Obama at the summit. "The escalation, the ratcheting up of ambition that we anticipated in Paris six years ago has not been uniformly realized."

As Redmond Shannon reports, poorer countries are also calling for more action on sharing the burden, as richer nations are blamed for the most emissions.
