'Conspirituality': The book debunking new-age misinformation

Matthew Remski, one of the authors of the book 'Conspirituality,' joins The Morning Show to talk about the book's examination of the alliance between conspiracy theories and new-age spirituality.

'Conspirituality' is a thought-provoking exploration of pseudoscience, deceptive prophecies and the prominence of alternative health practices with right-wing ideologies.

"What we wanted to do was to really show how alternative wellness and yoga and new-age demographics are actually particularly vulnerable to political demagoguery," Remski explains.

Remski also spoke about his own experience as a cult member and points out what he says are similarities between cults and new-age spirituality.
