Cong seeks addition of Quran in Graduation courses after Ramayana; BJP calls it appeasement politics

The Madhya Pradesh government has decided to include the epics Mahabharata and Ramayana as elective subjects in the first-year graduation courses of the state. According to the government, this decision has been taken as part of an effort to integrate cultural principles in higher education. Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Minister Mohan Yadav said that it was a proud moment.

Speaking on Congress seeking addition of Quran in course too Mohan Yadav said that Congress always resorted to appeasement politics. He added, "It is not about an all-religion institute but education." Take a look
