There is growing international concern over the fate of an Iranian athlete, who is missing after possibly defying her government. Rock climber Elnaz Rekabi has not been heard from since competing without a hijab at a competition in Seoul, South Korea, though a statement from her government denied reports she had gone missing.
This comes at a time of historic unrest in Iran after the death of Mahsa Amini in the custody of the so-called "morality police." Those in power have condemned the protests against the government's regime, saying countries like the U.S. are to blame for inciting what they believe is terror and chaos.
Global's Redmond Shannon takes a look at why human rights activists are worried about Rekabi's safety.
