Highway closures from catastrophic flooding in British Columbia have left many truckers in stranded in the province, forced to either hang tight, abandon their loads or re-route.

In Kamloops, B.C. alone, over 100 are stuck there with their rigs carrying precious cargo, still waiting for the situation to improve. But they are not going hungry, thanks to the kindness of strangers who are part of Khalsa Aid Canada.

Global’s Heather Yourex-West reports on how the group has cooked up a way to help drivers with a delicious taste of B.C. hospitality.
