The wife of late BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai, who was allegedly murdered in Ghazipur in 2005 by gangster-turned-politician Mukhtar Ansari, on Saturday said the mafia's rule in Uttar Pradesh was over and she had faith in the judiciary. Alka Rai, wife of late BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai, said, "I believe in the judiciary. The rule of goons, mafias (in the state) has ended."
