RSS के वरिष्ठ नेता इंद्रेश कुमार ने कहा है कि भगवान श्री राम का न्याय इतना सच्चा है कि जिस बीजेपी ने उनकी भक्ति करने के बाद अहंकार किया, उसे उन्होंने 241 सीटों पर रोक दिया और जिस विपक्ष ने भगवान राम का विरोध किया, उसे उन्होंने मिलकर भी सबसे बड़ा गठबंधन नहीं बनने दिया. अपने बयान पर आरएसएस नेता इंद्रेश कुमार ने दी सफाई और कहा है कि जिन्होंने राम की भक्ति की वो सत्ता में हैं, मोदी की सरकार में देश प्रगति कर रहा है. पिछले एक हफ्ते में RSS की तरफ से आया ये दूसरा बयान है, जिसमें संघ ने बीजेपी के चुनावी प्रदर्शन को अहंकार से जोड़ा है. इंद्रेश कुमार से पहले इसी हफ्ते RSS प्रमुख मोहन भागवत ने अपने एक भाषण में दो मुद्दे उठाए थे, जिनमें पहला मुद्दा था अहंकार का और दूसरा मुद्दा था, मणिपुर हिंसा का था.
