The energy giant Royal Dutch Shell has been ordered to cut carbon emissions far faster than planned after losing a landmark climate case.
The Hague District Court ruled that the Anglo-Dutch energy giant must cut its carbon emissions by a net 45 percent by 2030 compared to 2019 levels.
