Tourists have flocked to the occupied West Bank city as thousands of worshippers gathered in what is widely believed to be the birthplace of Jesus for midnight mass on Christmas Eve.
Bethlehem has been gearing up for a bustling season this year after two years of pandemic restrictions were lifted.
While the city welcomed more tourists, many say the numbers are nowhere near pre-pandemic levels.
