Christie's Geneva will be auctioning off what it says is the largest white diamond, named "The Rock," on May 11, a 228.31 carat pear-shaped diamond.

According to Rahul Kadakia, the international head of jewellery at Christie's, said the pre-sale estimate is $20 to $30 million, with the plan to sell it for as high as they can.

It's not the only diamond being auctioned that day, however, with a yellow 205.07 carat also up for bid, named the "Red Cross Diamond." This jewel, Kadakia said, was mined in 1901 in South Africa and sold at Christie's London in 1918 at the Red Cross auction during the war.
