More than half of all child sex abuse offences recorded in 2022 were committed by other children, according to new figures.

Police say the rise in child-on-child abuse is being fuelled by access to smart phones and indecent images online.

The new data also reveals that the number of overall cases reported has risen more than five times in the last decade, as Sky News' Crime Correspondent Martin Brunt reports.
