Chhattisgarh Election Results LIVE: The Congress, which a majority of exit polls predicted will win Chhattisgarh again and was also ahead in early leads, was stunned by the BJP as the vote count picked up.
By noon, the opposition BJP, which was trailing, caught up and then raced ahead of the ruling Congress. By mid afternoon, at 3:15 pm, after about seven hours into vote count, the BJP is leading in 54 seats, while the Congress is at 34.

The majorty mark in the 90-member Chhattisgarh assembly is 46.
