A former police trainer has testified ex-officer Derek Chauvin was justified in pinning Black American man George Floyd to the ground for more than nine minutes during an arrest last year.
It was the first day of defence testimony in the former police officer's murder trial in the US city of Minneapolis.
Prosecutors rested their case on Tuesday, the 11th day of the trial after presenting several videos and witness accounts.
