ChatGPT: Should universities consider a ban on AI text bot?

As ChatGPT has begun to shake up how we approach education and learning, Global's Anne Gaviola speaks with Brett Chang of The Peak Daily podcast about how universities are now considering a ban on the AI text bot. With the "genie" out of the bottle, Chang says it may be better for educators to adapt.

Also, Canada's largest grocery retailer Loblaw ended its price freeze, which applied to its in-house No Name brand. While it was only to be a three-month campaign, the company is still getting a lot of flak for not extending it.

And, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) raised its global growth outlook recently, in part due to China's re-opening post-pandemic and economic strength in the U.S. and Europe. But Gaviola questions Chang on whether it's too early to talk about signs of an economic recovery on the horizon.
