चंडीगढ़ यूनिवर्सिटी में छात्राओं ने MMS कांड मामले में, पुलिस और यूनिवर्सिटी के खिलाफ विरोध प्रदर्शन करते हुए पुलिस से सख्त कार्रवाई की मांग की. छात्रों ने यूनिवर्सिटी मैनेजमेंट और पुलिस पर मामले को दबाने का आरोप लगाया लेकिन पुलिस ने एमएमएस कांड को लेकर हो रहे इस विरोध प्रदर्शन को ही मज़ाक और आधारहीन बता दिया.

The students accused the university management and the police of suppressing the matter, but the police termed the protest against the MMS scandal as a joke and baseless.
