On-the-run prison officer, Vicky White, has died after she and prisoner Casey White were caught by US Marshals during a car chase.

Ms White shot herself after officers deliberately crashed into their vehicle, while Mr White suffered only minor injuries from the crash.

The pair (unrelated) disappeared after pretending to attend a bogus mental health evaluation while Mr White was awaiting trial on a capital murder case.
