A Canadian soldier who fought in Dieppe, France during the Second World War returned to the fishing port on the Normandy coast to mark the 80th anniversary of the deadly raid.
Retired Trooper Gordon Fennell was 20 years old during the Dieppe raid. He is now 100.
Fennell returned to Dieppe determined to salute the Canadian soldiers who died during the disastrous raid that resulted in the deaths of 900 Canadian soldiers.
