Canadian radio host reveals she's TikTok's text-to-speech voice

If you've used TikTok, you probably know the sound of the text-to-speech voice on the popular video platform. But now the identity of the voice has finally been revealed and it's radio personality Kat Callaghan on Corus station 91.5 The Beat.

Callaghan, who is also a podcaster, revealed to the Internet late last month she was the voice by making her own TikTok and addressed questions from listeners about how similar her voice was to the text-to-speech voice.

"Yes, I'm the TikTok text-to-speech girl," she said in the video. "I love working with TikToks. I love seeing your TikToks."

Callaghan spoke with The Morning Show's Jeff McArthur and Carolyn McKenzie to talk about the experience.
