Canadian Member of Parliament Jag Sahota from Calgary Skyview was casting an oral vote virtually Monday night in the House of Commons when her microphone malfunctioned, making her voice sound more like a fast-talking chipmunk, or as though she had just inhaled helium moments before. The house broke into laughter at the technological glitch, as she continued attempts to vote on the confidence motion, while the cool-headed speaker asked her to instead try a thumbs up or down in lieu of speaking.
