Canadian poet Eddie Lartey has won an international poetry slam competition in Brazil and wants to use his achievement as an opportunity to push his unique craft into the limelight.
The Hamilton, Ontario native previously won the Canadian Poetry Slam in the spring and is known as a “love poet” who transcends language boundaries.
