Canada's economy shrinks in 2nd quarter, interest rates likely to hold, says lecturer

The economy appeared to stall in the second quarter, according to Statistics Canada, shrinking at an annualized rate of 0.2 per cent. Moshe Lander, senior lecturer of economics at Concordia University, says it could be a sign the economy is cooling off.
