As Canada hits Russia with another round of sanctions, it's also taking action against those who jailed Vladimir Kara-Murza, a high-profile opponent of President Vladimir Putin.

Kara-Murza is known as one of the most influential figures behind Canada's Magnitsky-style sanctions against Russia. The Kremlin critic and opposition politician has been poisoned twice, and now sits in a Russian prison, charged with treason and faces a possible 24 years there.
