Canada commits $25 million in aid to Palestinians in Gaza, West Bank

The federal government is sending $25 million in aid to Palestinians affected by recent violence in Gaza and the West Bank. International Development Minister Karina Gould says Ottawa will use its longstanding partnerships on the ground to ensure its support goes to vulnerable Palestinians, 'and it does not in any way support the work of Hamas.'
