There've been more protests in Israel after parliament passed one crucial bill of the government's judicial reform. Police used water cannon on protesters who had gathered to block a highway in Tel Aviv. And demonstrators took to the streets of Jerusalem in their thousands after the legislation was passed by the Knesset. Police arrested several dozen people across Israel. The vote followed months of demonstrations by Israelis who say the reforms undermine the nation's democracy. The government says the changes are necessary to correct an imbalance of power that allows courts to excessively interfere in its decisions.
