The Ukraine war has put more focus on countries including Switzerland, Ireland and Austria which remain non-aligned militarily.
They have sanctioned Russia but play no part in the war.
Sweden and Finland, once bastions of neutrality, have applied to join NATO, with the Finns becoming members in days.
Does neutrality still matter or is it an outdated concept in today's world?
