In the United States, coronavirus cases are soaring. Hospitalisations and deaths hit new highs this week, and those figures are expected to grow.
California’s Governor Gavin Newsom said he is “pulling the emergency brake” and will impose three-week stay-at-home orders in parts of the state based on hospital capacity.
