Cabinet Approves Deployment of Army and Rangers for PSL Security

The federal cabinet has approved the deployment of the army and Rangers for the security of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8.

According to media sources, the summary of the Ministry of Interior had been approved by the federal cabinet.

Earlier, the administration of Punjab, Sindh, and Islamabad requested the deployment of the army and Rangers and the Pakistan Cricket Board also wrote a letter to the Federal Home Minister for the security of the PSL.

It is to be noted that the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League will start in Multan today, the matches of the event are scheduled from February 13 to March 19 in Lahore, Multan, Karachi, and Rawalpindi.
