With 51 percent support, Switzerland has voted to ban face-coverings such as the burqa and niqab in public places, with several 'exemptions,' like allowing such covers 'for security, weather and health reasons.' The move has already been labeled by a top Islamic group as a 'dark day' for Muslims.
