More than 30 years after Burkina Faso's former President Thomas Sankara died in a coup - his alleged assassins are standing trial.
The accused were some of Sankara's most trusted allies, including his successor Blaise Compaore, who ruled the country for 27 years after the killing.
But Campaore is now in exile in the Ivory Coast and is boycotting the trial.
