Budget 2021: Shobana Kamineni, executive vice chairperson of Apollo Hospitals, said, "This is an amazing budget" for the healthcare sector . "A 137 per cent more being spent than ever but just remember who that being spent for. That's not for you and me, it's for the people who are the most underserved," she said. The government on Monday proposed Rs 2,23,846 crore Budget outlay for health and well-being for 2021-22, compared to Rs 94,452 crore in the current fiscal, an increase of 137 per cent.
