BS Yediyurappa's Son To NDTV: "Congress Making Only Noise"

The Congress has been aggressively campaigning across Karnataka, and on the sidelines they have been coming up with narratives to attack the BJP government headed by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai. Election observers say the Congress has an edge over the BJP. However, BS Yeddiyurappa's son BY Vijayendra said the Congress is only noise, though their campaign pace has been picking up. In this exclusive conversation with NDTV's Sreeja MS, the BJP state vice president and Mr Yediyurappa's youngest son tells us that the target is to secure 130 seats. He explains how the BJP has been working at the grassroots level to strengthen their party while trying to penetrate the old Mysuru region - the stronghold of the JD(S) and the Congress.
