Foreign Secretary Lord Cameron said "sanctions need to be put in place to stop countries feeding Putin's war machine" and added that Britain is "keen to use frozen assets" to finance the construction of Ukraine.

He spoke at a joint news conference alongside German foreign minister Annalena Baerbock in Berlin.
