Britain's King Charles is in Germany on his first state visit as monarch.
He landed in Berlin for a three-day trip with his wife Queen Consort Camilla.
The Royals initially planned to travel to France but that was postponed due to protests. They will receive military honours at the Brandenburg Gate and a state banquet at the German president's Bellevue Palace. This visit is intended to mend relations between Britain and the European Union after its exit from the bloc.

For more on that state visit, we are joined by Ulrich Brückner, a political commentator and the Jean Monnet Professor for European Studies at Stanford University in Berlin.
