भारतीय कुश्ती महासंघ (WFI) के प्रमुख और बीजेपी के सांसद बृजभूषण शरण सिंह के खिलाफ रेसलर्स दिल्ली के जंतर-मंतर पर हफ्ते भर से धरने पर बैठे हैं. विरोध प्रदर्शन कर रहे पहलवानों की मांग है कि उन्हें अपने पद से इस्तीफा दे देना चाहिए. इन सभी मुद्दों पर बीजेपी सांसद ने एबीपी न्यूज के साथ खास बातचीत की और अपनी बात रखी.एबीपी न्यूज के खास कार्यक्रम प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में शिरकत करते हुए उन्होंने कहा, “सुप्रीम कोर्ट का जो निर्णय आया है उसका हम स्वागत करते हैं. हम अपने आप में जानते हैं कि हम निर्दोष हैं और हर जांच में सहयोग करेंगे.”इस्तीफा देने की बात पर डब्ल्यूएफआई चीफ ने कहा, “इस्तीफा इसलिए नहीं दे रहे क्योंकि इन लोगों ने मेरे ऊपर यौन उत्पीड़न का आरोप लगाया है और इसका अपराधी बनकर कैसे रह लेता.” इसके साथ ही उन्होंने कहा कि इन लोगों ने कभी इस्तीफा मांगा ही नहीं. इनके बयान लगातार बदलते रहे.उन्होंने इसके पीछे साजिश बताते हुए कहा, “इसके पीछे कई सौ करोड़ रुपये खर्च किए गए हैं और दीपेंद्र हुड्डा के साथ साथ एक बड़ा उद्योगपति भी शामिल है. वो आगे कहते हैं कि अगर मेरे ऊपर लगाए गए आरोपों का कोई सबूत है तो दिखा दीजिए, मैं इस्तीफा दे दूंगा.”उनसे जब पूछा गया कि अगर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी कह दें तो क्या आप इस्तीफा दे देंगे? इसके जवाब में वो कहते हैं, “तुरंत इस्तीफा दे देंगे. सिर्फ प्रधानमंत्री ही नहीं पार्टी में अमित शाह, जेपी नड्डा में से भी कोई कहेगा तो भी इस्तीफा दे दूंगा.”उन्होंने साफ तौर पर कहा, “जब तक अदालत गुनाहगार नहीं बताएगी, तब तक गुनाहगार नहीं हूं. कानून का जो फैसला आएगा वो स्वीकार है. मैंने कोई गलत काम नहीं किया है और न कभी करूंगा. हमारे यश को मारने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है.”राजनीति पर चर्चा करते हुए उन्होंने कहा, “उत्तर प्रदेश से किसी भी पार्टी ने मेरे खिलाफ बयान नहीं दिया है. यहां तक कि कांग्रेस के किसी नेता ने बयान नहीं दिया.”

Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh have been sitting on a dharna at Delhi's Jantar Mantar for a week. The protesting wrestlers demand that he should resign from his post. On all these issues, the BJP MP had a special conversation with ABP News and kept his point. Participating in the press conference, a special program of ABP News, he said, “We welcome the decision of the Supreme Court. We know in ourselves that we are innocent and will cooperate in every investigation." On the matter of resignation, the WFI chief said, "I am not resigning because these people have accused me of sexual harassment and being guilty of it How would you have lived?" Along with this, he said that these people never asked for resignation. His statements kept changing continuously. Describing the conspiracy behind this, he said, “Several hundred crores of rupees have been spent behind this and along with Deepender Hooda, a big industrialist is also involved. He further says that if there is any evidence of the allegations leveled against me, then show it, I will resign. In response, he says, “I will resign immediately. Not only the Prime Minister, I will resign even if someone from Amit Shah, JP Nadda in the party asks. The decision of the law will be accepted. I have never done anything wrong and will never do it. An attempt is being made to kill our fame.” Discussing politics, he said, “No party from Uttar Pradesh has given a statement against me. Even no Congress leader gave a statement."
