The post-Brexit trade deal between Britain and the European Union has officially become law in the UK after receiving the Queen's royal assent. The British parliament overwhelmingly approved the agreement on Wednesday, after it was signed by the EU's top officials. The accord sets out the new trade rules between Britain and the European Union, starting on New Year's Day.
