BREAKING: Shamima Begum loses appeal against removal of British citizenship

Shamima Begum has lost an appeal to have her British citizenship restored.

She was 15 years old in 2015 when she left the UK for Syria to join ISIS, and in 2019 her British citizenship was removed.

The ruling means she will not be able to return to the UK.
