BREAKING: PM sets out four stages in roadmap out of COVID-19 lockdown

Boris Johnson explains how the government will ease COVID-19 restrictions, with all legal limits on social contact expected to be removed from 21 June at the earliest.

Two households or six people will be able to meet outdoors and in private gardens from 29 March at the earliest - and indoors from 17 May or later.

Pubs and restaurants will be able to serve drinks outdoors from 12 April at the earliest - and indoors from 17 May at the earliest.
